Partnership and City Install New Wayfinding Signs Downtown

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) is proud to announce the installation of new wayfinding signs in the heart of downtown Tipp City. These thoughtfully designed signs culminate a community-driven initiative to provide visitors with clear directions while preserving the charm and historic character that make Tipp City unique.

The project evolved throughout the year, reflecting a commitment to align with Tipp City’s historic designation and enhance its reputation as a quaint and welcoming downtown. The final design captures the essence of our charming community, ensuring that the signs not only serve a functional purpose but also complement the aesthetics of our historic downtown district.

DTCP would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the City of Tipp City for installing the signs. We’re excited to see how this project benefits visitors and look forward to analyzing the data on how often the signs are used to inform future initiatives.

This initiative was spearheaded by DTCP’s Economic Development Committee, chaired by Christy Jacobs, with Ryan Liddy as co-chair. Committee members include Mike McDermott, Meredith McKee, Ben Mosier, Toni Griffith, Lori Angel York, Andrea Hoover, and Tasha Weaver. Their collective efforts and vision were instrumental in bringing this project to life.

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership’s mission is to “preserve, promote, and enhance the historic downtown.” This project aligns perfectly with our mission, showcasing our commitment to improving the downtown experience while maintaining its historic integrity.
