The public was reminded that city offices will be closed November 28 and 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The city will host a tree lighting and holiday market on December 8 at the Vandalia Rec Center.

The meeting concluded with Council adjourning to executive session for the purposes of discussing the purchase of real property and for the purpose of discussing the employment of a public official. Councilman Lewis was absent from the meeting.
