Celebrate the Spirit of the Season with Holiday Tour

Celebrate the Spirit of the Season with “Tippecanoe & Christmas Too” Historic Holiday Tour

Downtown Tipp City invites residents and visitors to join in a cherished holiday tradition, newly enhanced for 2024, with the “Tippecanoe & Christmas Too” Historic Holiday Tour. This festive experience will take place on Saturday, December 7, from noon to 4 p.m., offering a chance to explore some of Tipp City’s beautiful historic homes and immerse yourself in holiday cheer. Tickets are available for $20, with proceeds supporting the Downtown Tipp City Partnership’s efforts to promote, enhance and preserve our vibrant historic downtown.

The tour will feature four historic homes on North 3rd Street (210 N 3rd, 216 N 3rd, 206 N 3rd, and 128 N 3rd) and a unique opportunity to view the upstairs residence in the historic Burwell Building downtown. Please note that guests touring the Burwell Building will need to navigate stairs. Attendees will also enjoy festive musical entertainment along the way, learning about the history, architecture, and holiday traditions of each home.

The Tippecanoe Historical Society, located at 20 N 3rd Street, will be a special stop on the tour. With a vast collection of artifacts, photographs, antiques, and memorabilia, the Historical Society offers a window into the rich heritage of Tipp City and the history behind many of these beloved homes. Visitors will have a chance to explore the society’s fascinating exhibits and gain a deeper appreciation for the stories and legacy of our town.

Upon check-in at the Hotel Gallery Community Room, attendees will receive a tour punch card and a raffle ticket. The punch card will serve as their guide to each stop, including special activities such as a photo opportunity at Mauk Cabinets by Design and holiday treats at the Cookie Chalet inside the Hotel Gallery’s Community Room.

Adding even more holiday cheer, our local sponsors will be set up on Plum Street, offering special treats and unique holiday items to make your season bright. Be sure to visit them and explore the offerings they have prepared for this event.

Your ticket also unlocks exclusive one-day discounts at select downtown Tipp City businesses, making it the perfect opportunity to support local merchants, shop for unique gifts, and enjoy everything our historic downtown has to offer.

Tickets can be purchased online and are expected to sell quickly. Don’t miss this chance to experience Tipp City’s holiday charm and create unforgettable memories with friends and family.
