Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Complete Fitness’s New Location with Ribbon Cutting

The Tipp City Chamber of Commerce proudly held a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the grand opening of Complete Fitness’s new location. After a year-long journey filled with unforeseen delays, Complete Fitness has officially moved into its expanded facility—an impressive space designed to serve the community with top-notch fitness offerings.

Owned and operated by Cathy Jo and Mark Higgins, Complete Fitness has been a staple in Tipp City since 2016. Their commitment to fostering a welcoming, family-friendly fitness environment remains stronger than ever. Open 24 hours a day, the gym offers over 45 group classes per week and is a Silver Sneakers facility, providing discounts to Silver Sneakers members and other Tivity Health members. Additional discounts are available for military personnel, first responders, senior citizens, and students.

More than just a gym, Complete Fitness prides itself on being a place where individuals of all fitness levels—from high school athletes to retirees—can feel at home. Cathy Jo and Mark, who both work full-time outside of the gym, have built a strong community focused on inclusivity and support.

A key part of that mission is The Crew, a program Mark founded to support individuals with special needs. Participants train at Complete Fitness weekly and, during the season, compete with the Miami County Special Olympic Powerlifting team, where Mark serves as head coach. The dedication to inclusivity extends beyond fitness, fostering a space where everyone belongs.

The new location also features an exciting addition—Joyful Soles, a local dance school for ages 3 and up, will now have a dedicated studio within the Complete Fitness facility.

“We want Complete Fitness to be more than just a neighborhood gym. We want it to feel like home—a place where fitness is fun, where you feel safe and supported, and where friendships and family bonds grow,” said Cathy Jo and Mark Higgins.
